Honouring the work in the vines
A symbol

If there is one symbol which truly represents the Coteaux du Landion cooperative it is old hoe-type implements known as fousseux. Once used to tend the vines, they stand for the hard work of the winegrowers, their know-how and expertise, respect for the terroir and heritage. They are also a nod to Gaston Cheq’s 1911 revolution when he mobilised the winegrowers to save their vineyards.

One Historyaround the sparkling

Individually, our members can relate to some aspect of this symbol, be it the manual work, respect for the land, the regional dialect or the tribute to Gaston Cheq and his defence of the vineyards, and together they see it as a symbol of unity.
